Fried Beancurd Parcel With Cucumber Puree — A Healthy Savory Side-Dish Recipe

Health Benefits Of Bean Curd

Bean curd is a traditional soy product made by coagulating soy milk and pressing the curds into blocks. It is inexpensive yet nutritious and is a staple protein in many Asian cultures. Bean curd and its variations such as tofu, tempeh and natto, is a complete protein and is often used as a meat substitute in vegetarian cuisine. Because it’s made from whole soybeans, bean curd is rich in healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. It is an excellent source of calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.

In this recipe, we use bean curd sheets to create an appetizing savory side dish which is also highly nutritious.
